Eareckon channel strip anyone?

I have been looking for a good algorithmic reverb and a good channels trip to use in Cubase on OS X. Reverb has been found (Valhalla plugins), now I still need a channels trip. Hot candidates I was considering were (and still are) Waves Renaissance Maxx Bundle (that would also include the Ren Reverb which I aminterested in) and iZotope Alloy 2, but I have seen a channels trip now for only 39€. Question is if it is any good.
It is the Eareckon channel strip CS-Strip 87 from the Analog87 bundle. Has anyone here tried it? How is it? It seems to get good reviews...

Thanks for your interest in CS-STRIP87.

The plugins of the ANALOG87 Series are low priced for historical reasons.
The first version of these plugins has been released in 2010 (32-bit VST for Windows only then).

They have been entirely re-designed, re-coded and improved about one year ago in order to provide a solid set of dynamics/EQ tools for Windows and OSX (32 and 64 bit).

In 2012, a first review has been published by buenasidea.de and then Computer Music and more recently Future Music published amazingly positive reviews about them (4 awards, ...).

However their price is probably the only thing which has never been updated in two years :-)

The idea behind the ANALOG87 Series was to provide efficient but intuitive mixing tools that respect the charateristics of the audio source they receive. They are often described as "smooth" processors (which does not mean "light"!), as they have been designed to avoid digital artifacts.

Please feel free to give a try to the demo version.

Thanks again,
Best,
Philippe

Philippe, there seems to be a problem with the Mac installer. I downloaded the zip file twice, to be sure, but when I tried to unzip them, I received this error message:

Hi Tui,

Please contact me by email (or via the contact form at eareckon) and I will do my best to find an alternative solution so you can download the archive.

Best,
Philippe
