Logic Aux

When using Aux or Bus objects in Logic Pro, the output from that object seems to be 3dB down (-6dB if I have both a bus and aux in the path). Have I missed a setting somewhere to prevent this? I'd rather not have to have the bus/aux faders up by 3dB to compensate.
Any help greatly appreciated...

Hm, weird.

Do you mean that if you send/output to a bus, then that bus will be -3dB down?

Thanks for the reply.

Yes. Sending/outputting to an aux or bus seems to lose 3dB.
I've tested it with mono objects and 2 tracks panned hard right and left and watched level meters; comes out 3dB down each side.

If I don't have a Bus object in the environment, then an aux "only" loses 3dB.

I'm a bit bemused...

Check your "pan logic" in prefs is probably set to "-3 db" i us e "-3db compensated "sometimes does change the pan to master bus though..

Cheers & blue skies

Thanks for the suggestion audwiz... though I can't find Pan Logic in the preferences (or manual).
Where will it be?

Many thanks.
