I know a number of softsamplers support Akai s1000 progs but..

Is there a softsampler that imports Akai MPC programs?

Oh and BTW, Battery DOES NOT CONVERT THEM. So don't let another sucker buy that app like I did.

KONTAKT opens MPC pgm files. It is the only one that I know of at the moment that can do this without some thrid party software. There was an earlier version of BATTERY - 1.14 or so that did in fact open MPC pgm files. They removed that ability in later versions and added it to KONTAKT. They probably would have many more MPC converts if they put it back in BATTERY.

Thanks for the info everyone.

It seems to me ridiculous that NI would let Knotakt and not Battery import MPC programs.

The fact that they took it out after 1.14 is just strange.
