Slate Digital Future Plans?

Does anybody know if Fabrice and Steven are going to make EQ and Compressor emulations at the same level as their current work? I would love to get my hands on a Slate Digital API 550A EQ to pair with VCC.

I think they should create channel strip/EQ emulations to pair with VCC! I've heard the waves API EQs compared to the hardware and they really don't capture the full effect. Especially after hearing NLS compared to VCC. I think Slate Digital could make much better emulations.

Does anybody know what we should expect next?!

Well, last year in a product development meeting, I brought up an idea that I thought would not only revolutionize the audio industry... but the entire world.

BACON. FLAVORED. PANTS.

Think about it... You're sitting around. You're hungry. You have no food. Oh what's that? You DO HAVE FOOD. You can eat your pants!

Unfortunately the entire company shot down the idea and I spent a day in white padded room.

And so I decided to keep on doing what we've been doing... which is creating the absolute most DEAD ON replications of analog circuits in the digital domain. We've got some amazing new stuff in the works!

Cheers,
Steven

On the behalf of the jewish, muslim and vegan/vegetarian communities, i find your suggestion offensive and in bad taste. You've really made a pig of this.

Well it wouldn't be slate if it didn't come in different flavours... The brocoli emulation is real great from what I heard.

Hey!! It's not april 1st yet!

I'm very excited for the new products. I personally think that if you and Fabrice keep at this you'll change mixing ITB forever. I bought VCC a week ago and I'm already hooked! I'll be getting VTM soon as well. Now I'm just craving for some EQs and compressors in the same league. (Especially after using NLS and comparing it to VCC... wow)

Anyways, keep up the amazing work! I'm excited for future analog emulations!

If you hear things like I do, you will love VTM. Also, FG-X is the best ITB limiter I've ever heard. IMHO.

Yep... Massive fan of slate VCC and FGX..

I was speaking to Steven and hinted to him the other day, but he didn't say anything about it..

I would love some slate compressors etc.

Gives a new ring to 'eat my shorts', unless you already allergic to celery and corn. Most bacon is made with celery powder, and corn syrup.
Hope you have backup plans for people like me or I'd be pissed.

Can't wait to hear what you guys are cooking up soon.

Btw, some of the Nebula developers are now releasing vst ports of some of the amazing libraries. Competition is a good thing.

I'm curious if Fabrice is pretty much exclusive to Slate Digital now and that we'll never see any new plugs under the Eiosis brand?.

I like the fact that the Eiosis plugins also support syncrosoft (or e-licenser as its now known) dongle, which is the one I use.
