Whats up with the shortcuts in Ableton?

Good after(whatever) fellow Ableton users.

So I'm very confused to WHY they decided to change the shortcuts around in the latest version.

Such as "Save as" has the EXACT same shortcut as duplicate??

Command D no longer does anything..

Anyone know of how to change this back, as its a really big deal to not have these simple basic functions working.

Getting fed up with all the wonky stuff going on with this program (shortcut stuff, Ohmicide crashing CONSTANTLY in Abe, other quirky stuff like volume spikes +10 db upon first initial playback of a VST, etc).

Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe its time to go to FL Studio and Pro Tools...

Sounds like a weirdly corrupted program you have. All key commands work as usual here. Tried a reinstall?

In OS X, you can customize keyboard shortcuts for any program. Go to System Preferences, Keyboard, then click on the 'Keyboard Shortcuts' tab (in Mountain Lion; can't remember where it was in previous versions).

Duplicate and Save As work fine on my Mac. You're gonna switch to another DAW...?!

This video I made may not help you change the shortcuts but at least help some people learn them quickly. It's just two minutes. Most of these work on Live 8 and just 2 of them are new to Live 9. Check it out here Ableton Live 9 (Must know) Keyboard shortcuts in under two minutes - YouTube
