Voxengo Plugs

I currently own the Voxengo Marquis plug and I think it is an outstanding compressor plugin.

I am interested in checking out other products from them and I am looking for suggestions on Voxengo plugs you have tried and like?

If you can keep your suggestions to 2 per person that would be appreciated. If you can include any particulars (i.e. how long you have used it, what types of music/applications, why you like it etc..) that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

They are almost all good!!

Hey fella!
Concerning Voxengo, they are one of the best plugins in the PC based plugins and their plugs are quality and also not too expensive.

Voxengo marquis is a hell of an amazing compressor taht you can use it for overall MIXes and work also in all type of music style, all depend how you applied it for sure.

You should i think check for almost the whole Voxengo List of plugins and i can mentioned some but the best way for you is to go in their site and get the DEMO and run them, try them and be your own judge. Of course if you wanted to have feedback from us here if they are good, quality and effective PLUGINS, for me, YEs, being using them for about more then 2 years and simply love them:

Here are some you should look at:
Voxengo Crunchessor ( very easy of use and WARM)
Voxengo VOXformer (vocal chanel strip)
Voxengo Warmifier ( Put some warm color in your Track or Vox)

Elephant-Soniformer- Polysquasher very good for over all mixes wich offer very Transparent quality etc..

And more and more... whats good also about Voxengo's plugins, they are WARM and have a nice tone (of course again for the price range) and you can also blend them with other compressor you feel like. But again, we can say this or that, only you can judge with your EARS.

Enjoy and good luck

I love all the EQs, especially the HarmoniEQ and GlissEQ. I like Harmoni on guitars and Gliss on vocals usually.

Those and all the plugs Solar mentioned.

The LF plugins have been useful a few times as well.

Try the demos!

I use the voxengo elephant all the time to glue my mix together. I usually mix with it on the masterbus.

cheers

Soniformer and Elephant are really nice.

How does the Marquise compressor compare to some standards like the uad1176
Renaissance , etc.

I need more Voxengo.

Only thing

Only thing i noticed its just that Voxengo's plugins eat a bit of CPU but i hope they will fix that in some new updates. But besides that, all theyir plugins are siuply amazing and for the price too..

Simply love them

I dont use Marquis cause i dont have enough CPU power but when i gave it a try some time ago it remind me the uad1176. Of course voxengo plugs are always so tweakable that i am almost sure you could get so different results with it.

I think they are in the same league when talking about quality, and for sure its more flexible.

Maybe some more experienced user could corroborate my thoughts...

voxengo harmoni eq is good for drastic high boosts, good for electronic production/sound manipulation.

marquis compressor is my fav compressor

gliss eq is a nice eq with built in compression on the bands for adding punch (sweet for low boosting a snare around 200 with the compressor on 10)
