| Need help deciding my next move
hey.
I currently have a toshiba Staellite L755D:
Basic Specs:
Processor: AMD A6 3400m APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.40 Gz
Ram: 4gb
64bit
Bios: Insyde h20
and I was told the Processor is not ideal for running some VST's I will be looking to run on Fruity loops.
I recently found an Asus Model G71-GX gaming laptop on craglist for 150, the only downside is the monitor is black, nothing shows, but the computer itself is fine.

I am not that well read when it comes to understanding computer hardware but it does seem to me that the Asus is atleast two times better performance wise than my current computer.
So my question is: am I better off going with the Asus and possibly paying for a new LCD which i beleive is around 80-100 or am I better off keeping my Toshiba and buying a better processor seperatly for it? This is kind of a what would you do scenario, just looking for some advice.
