Hardware conflict

Why does Logic say that my hardware is already being used when it isn't? Never happened before and doesn't happen when i run PT or other audio programs either....

Running OSX 10.3.9 on G4 Powermac. Protools TDM & Logic 7 with 882|20 interfaces.

Cheers

If you are running Logic 7.2 a mix system won't work , you have to be running 7.1.1 and even so you have to do a mod in Logic to make it work but apparently it works fine .....

I run the same system you do but with Logic 6.4.1 and it works great , the furthest i can go with this setup like you is 7.1.1 Logic with 6.4.1 P.Tools .

Have you tried the obvious steps, like trashing preferences, rebuilding sound panel prefs, repair permissions, clean & optimize with OnyX, etc.?

If that failes re-install sound card drivers and/or MIDI drivers (yes, this can have an effect on audio too).

Did you try using a clean template (remove the autoload), what does your sound panel say in the system prefs?
