Neocymatics Hybrid Strings - question

Hello,

I am highly considering to purchase this library. I have been looking for reviews or user comments without success. Any user here in order to provide a feedback regarding the quality of the instruments and the performance of the library?

This seems to be a very realistic solo strings library.

Thanks!!

Ricardo

Thanks, but I need a comment from an actual user. I would like to know if that the high amount of legato can be controlled or modified. Nonetheless, IMO it does not sound like an erhu, it sounds like a violin played like an erhu IMO (well, it sounds similar because of the technique, but not the same). The timbre is a violin and IMO sounds very realistic, I just want to know how much you can control the legato to make it sounding more natural.

Take in count that what you hear is only a demo, and the demo depends on what the person wanted to do with the instrument. The important thing is the timbre (how realistic it is), how realistic the articulations and techniques of the instruments are, and how much control you have on these techniques to make it sound realistic (apart from the sound edition).

Greetings donethur,

I noticed your thread so I would like to inform you that we have added a short reviews/testimonials page from professionals (composers and producers) who use Hybrid Strings. We will add more soon.
Take a look if you have the time:

Testimonials - Hybrid Strings

It's true that there are not many reviews around yet, because H.S. is quite a new library and a big percent of our customers are people from Arabic countries that do not attend the English-written boards (I guess)

Feel free to send us an email with any questions, we always answer within a few hours. Thanks for your interest on our work.

Kind Regards,

Marios
