Trying to synchronize 24 tracks of tape based ADAT II (20 Bit 48 kHz) to Sonar X1 Producer using 2) Focusrite Saffire Pro 26 Converters to make transfers. I am getting signals, and all tracks are streaming, but many have pops and clicks or garbled audio. I'm pretty sure this is a clock issue, but my operation manuals are pretty short on detailed sync information. I have a BRC and 3 XT20 Adats with 2 Saffire Pro 26 units with Word Clock I/Os and each with a pair of Adat I/Os. I also have an M20 Adat on site as well with a few more options available. I have used SMPTE/MTC before so not completely unfamiliar with sync issues. I have the necessary light pipes and BNC cables. I just need to wire up a configuration that works.
