ZYNAPTIC PITCMHAP this plug in looks impressive

I am impresssed especially by the way you can alter the audio directly commanding it by your midi keyboard.

Can the same be now be done with the new melodyne editor ? I mean change the audio realtime by playing on the keyboard.

Regards

Sergio

Glad to hear you're impressed

As far as I'm aware, no, Melodyne does not allow defining target pitches via MIDI in real-time.

Even if it does and I missed that bit (which may be possible), it would still require you to Transfer the audio to the plug-in and have the analysis do it's thing before you can get started. PITCHMAP works on a live stream, so you can get started immediately. It's a lot of fun and very productive IMHO.

Best,
Denis
