H3000 Factory Native - what happened?

What happened to the native H3000 plug-in? It seems to have vanished from the Eventide site.

Does anyone know what's going on?

Maybe they're in negotiations with UAD?

Just speculation of course, but some are expecting a native version of a model more modern than the 3000 (4000, Eclipse, who knows?). It would be nice to see but I'm not holding my breath.

I remember seeing someone claiming he owned the rights at least some of the algorithms in the H3000 and he wasn't particularly interested in plugin versions of them. Maybe that's why ?

I asked them in april about both delayed Blackhole and H3000 and they replied Blackhole was about to be released (and it was) and that H3000 would follow some time after that. They didn't tell a release date for either of the plugins, but Blackhole was indeed released shortly afterwards.

I would be happy if they simply ported each of the 'factor' pedals into plugin format like the Blackhole plugin. Awesome sound, then they should build the software to link via the usb connection to act as a remote for the software - win!

The 3000 has existed as a TDM plugin for many years, it's only recently that they've talked about producing a native version. Maybe the algorithms in question weren't a part of the TDM version but were planned for the native???

I'm a big fan of their 2016 Stereo Room & Blackhole plugs!

So as a Native user I was looking forward to this plug!

Don't see any info on Eventide's forum nor are they answering my emails regarding the Native H3000's future!

Big disappointment!

Hang in there. We'll found out soon enough whether it was was pulled to update the literature, or because of legal issues, or because the product was cancelled. Today, we don't know what's going on.

I really don't know. I just remembered that post when i read this thread and figured it might be the case.

It was something along the lines of:
"They're making a native H3000!"
"O RLY ? I own those algorithms and they haven't asked me"
or something to that effect.

EDIT: Found it!

Love what you guys have done since we all left the company!

It would seem i was at least partially right but not completely. Good to know my mind isn't totally shot though a tad erratic at times.

I'd assumed the entire enchilada was property of Eventide, not carried on with Ken @ Soundtoys.

It is easy to get the impression he owns all the algorithms if don't read it carefully (i know because i did the first time) but the way i see it now is that the algorithms he developed for Eventide are obviously the property of Eventide but the ModFactory is his. (Does that even make sense ? God i'm hungover).

Haha! Not really, but I think I know what you mean. ModFactory wasn't part of the original package and might have its own rules for licensing.

I wish Ken & SoundToys would come out with something like this in the Native format. I have been waiting for it to become a reality for years!

Crystallizer & SoundBlender are fantastic! Which as you all know stem from the H3000 & H4000 family.

Unfortunately, SoundBlender is TDM only.

But if the "Mod Factory" thing is the issue, shouldn't this have been gone over in the conceptual stage of the product?

Sorry for going off topic...

So you're confident native will follow sooner or later?
I have really given up hope on this. :/

I don't know how "on topic" it is to talk about H3000 "impulse response" files for my convolution reverb-Perfect Space[32 bit only unfortunately],but another forum member pointed me to a site, who had "extensive" IR's of Eventide H3000 files, and I use them constantly.

Unfortunately[again!] can't remember the site, but I went back soon after, and they no longer had the files at all anymore, but they were Free/Donation .wavs, and very good...maybe something similar could suffice?

Too low rent? Too bad

sorry to pollute this thread with my question but does anybody know if black hole gonna be ported to x64?
Incredible they can't say a single word about it....somewhere.
Eventide seems abolutely about it.....

Although the H3000 Factory is an awesome plugin, you will be disappointed if looking for the legendary "Crystal Echoes" or String Simulation patches as they ain't there.
This is a complete port of the old TDM only version, and is an awful lot of fun.

H3000 native to buy and demo with Ilok 2 is now on eventides site but the traffic it's attracting means it's a mad struggle to get the page to load. it does not cover everything the hardware H3000 does which is a shame. Maybe thats because the Soundtoys devs programed some of the H3000 then ran off to start their own plugs. It's $199 or £124 in english.

The eventide forum admin said they are working on a 64bit version of Blackhole I think H3000 native is 32bit and 64bit but that just going off what someone else said in another forum.

I don't know if Eventide's slow website means that much extra traffic. I've found Eventide's website to be the slowest always. It's probably the only site these days that has a huge lag every time I go there.

What is it that makes this thing unique btw, I love my Eventide plugins so far, but I haven't been able to get excited about this. Seeing the price puzzles me a bit, how is this "more valuable" than say 2016 Stereo Room or Blackhole? This lists at $349, when their other plugins are $199 and $149.
