Drum loops, SSD EX+Groovemonkee vs EZD+Nashville

Looking to start into adding some drums/perc into my songs.

What do you think about:
SSD 4 EX + a couple groovemonkee libraries vs.
EZdrummer + nashville expansion pack

SSD4 or EXdrummer currently $79
nashville pack or 2 groovemonkee libraries about $40

What say you?

I say get them all/both.
I also have Superior 2 Battery 3 and a bunch of others. there is no such thing as too many different drum romplers.

How much money do you have to spend ?

I use ssd4 and have some groove monkey and Platinum grooves and have friend who use nashville which also sounds great.

You don't actually need two samplers, if you are mostly doing country nashville sounds great.

SSD4 has been working fine for me and zero problems loading in groove monkey and platinum grooves.

Do you want one sample and keep it simpler or do you like to build a big tool kit ? SSD4 is designed so that you can easily bring in samples and manage other grooves in it.

I think you will be happy with either or both if you have the dough ? Have you listened to the Platinum country grooves they are only about 30 bucks and play in SSD no probs. ?

No country music, I've read the Nashville pack is all around great sounding and quite versatile.
Just looking for something easy to use, has great sounds, and a good library of grooves and loops which I can as is, or can modify.

Well, there was a sale today on EZdrummer + Nashville for $84 total.

Couldn't pass that up. Just need to decide which other expansion packs to get.

I have both and I defy you to say that either one is better than the other based on bit depth.

Unless of course you have golden ears, in which case you should be wealthy enough to hire a drummer and a decent room! (grinny grin grin)

Seriously, I have bided my time and picked up drum romplers galore for pennies as and when they go on special.

I ordered Latin Percussion EZX.

Has anyone used Claustrophobic? I am leaning towards that one also.
