Is Waves GTR3 Worth Having?

HI Guys

I have Guitar Rig Pro 5,and Amplitube 3.

I have heard that GTR3 is the best Amp Emulation Software there is,so I was wondering if anyone who uses and would like to comment.

I only use Clean sounds such as Vox - Fender.

Thanks

Alan

Thanks,I am aware of the demo's but it would be nice to get the views of someone who actually uses it.

I like it, when needed. The amps are usable and some of the pedals are very cool, not only for guitar.

I use it for dreamy "Pad" type stuff .

For clean, I use Amp Fender 3/4 of the time. The 57 stuff is so cool.

I like it as it has a different sound compared to GR5 (which I also use). More sharp, cuts through the mix.

its not very good for real natural sounding stuff. it can work for effecty type stuff but really any amp sim can. my vote dont get it. amplitube is better or an axefx will solve all your problems

I like the Amplitube 3 Fender sounds better. I'm not a fan of IK, but in this case I think they did a better job.
You may want to give S-Gear a try. I haven't tried it for Fender-like clean sounds, but it's a very nice amp simulator with a more than fair price.

People have different brains so what they think is irrelevant to what we need

I like it only for clean tones or a little(very little) beat overdriven.
I hate it for medium to high gain distortion.
I think the same about amplitube but still I prefer GTR3.

You only use clean sounds?!
Come'n open up your tastes, there's a whole different and exciting world out there
