PSP new Echo!

That's right and it's cheap and even cheaper when you've purchased some of their other plugins.

Yup. For $25 it was a no brainer.

But is it any good?

Can't imagine it being in the same league as Ubermod.

I'm not familiar with Ubermod. I think they have different goals in mind, though.

interesting. I put it in my cart on the PSP website and didn't get any further discounts, although I own most of their other plugins.

Were you logged in? I ended up paying around $25. If that doesn't work, I'd get in touch with PSP. Their customer service is great.

Most, if not all. I got in really cheap at the beginning and after that the investment has been minimal to keep up.

Any opinions on how this fares against Soundtoy's Echoboy?

There aren't many PSP tools I don't own myself these days, grabbed Echo almost reflexively since I didn't grab psp85 (5-7 years ago I used psp84 a LOT). I need to start playing with it, but I'm curious how it compares to Logic's own tape delay (especially 4.x-6.x era).

Been using it all week. Its sounds great, I love the UA RE-201 buts its so limiting, this has taken over for that plugin now. The Ducker is a great add on, and the over all tone of the plug is cool. I like the drive feature, and with the WOW, you can make great vintage sounding choruses. It may not have all the options that the Echoboy has, but maybe it does, but really for me being a mixing engineer and not producing Dance or special FX with it, this does more than I would need. And the tone is just what I wanted.
