I am helping someone out setting up this unit with Windows XP SP2 & while testing it I noticed a fairly low analogue input level. Has anyone else seen this? I can't see anything obvious that I am doing wrong. The device seems to be operating correctly. S/P-DIF works and analogue output works but the analogue input seems incredibly quiet even at full gain. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. ________ neil. I wish my 300th post was more exciting/informative/not rubbish. |

I have only tested a mic (SM58) into one of the analog ins and the signal was dissapointingly low. I thought something was wrong, but now believe it is what it is. I have to turn the input all the way up to max on both the FTP *and* the software (Live 5) to get a decent signal, which doesn't seem right to me. I wish i had shopped around more, though I don't know how much better an interface you can get for $200 or so.. STRATEGY | |
