Mountain Lion, Logic pro 9.1.7 and Altiverb 6.3.5

I get this message...

Test MIDI
ERROR: -2147450878 IN CALL MusicDeviceSendMIDI

* * FAIL
--------------------------------------------------
AU VALIDATION FAILED: CORRECT THE ERRORS ABOVE.
--------------------------------------------------

... when I try to install altiverb from Audio ease. I works in live 8.3.3 - but after upgrading to mountain lion it dosent work in logic anymore.

Can anyone explain or is there anybody having same problems?

This is a known bug but here is a workaround from Altiverb support:

Run Logic in 32 bits mode, it will crash again while scanning Altiverb 6.
Open the Audio Units Manager from the Logic preferences and tick the box to load
the Altiverb 6 plugin anyway. Altiverb 6 will now fully function in Logic (you
only need to load it from the 'incompatible' plugin menu now).
After this you can run Logic in 32 or 64 bits mode, whatever you prefer.

A future Altiverb update will of course address this issue.
