I want to transfer just the waves plugins "settings" from one hard drive to the other

I want to transfer just the waves plugins "presets settings" from one hard drive to the other where my studio one pro v2 daw is, and put those settings into the waves plugins that are in my studio one.

THE WAVES PLUGINS/ PRESETS ON THE OTHER DRIVE ARE IN PROTOOLS AND I WANT TO BRING THESE PRESETS INTO MY WAVES PLUGINS THAT ARE IN MY STUDIO ONE PRO V2.

Any ideas?

Mac or PC?

On PC navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-In Settings\WaveShell-DAE and copy those to the destination computer (wherever StudioOne stores its presets).

On MAC i believe the path is (System Drive)\Library\Applicationsupport\Digidesign\Plug-In Settings\WaveShell-DAE\ (I could be mistaken, not in front of a MAC at the moment)

Wouldn't he be copying RTAS settings then? Studio One uses AU or VST, but not RTAS

If these are custom presets, I would export them out of the waves plugin right in pro tools so they are the native waves presets.

You're right. I just tried it with Sonar and it uses a different extension unless you use the Waves menu. I guess you'll have to do them all one by one.
