No demo for download yet.

I'm not sure if it's available from dealers yet, as it's Saturday today.

All good!

Thanx Dale for the answer..

I will be waiting for Sequoi or Samplitude until they upgrade everything to what other DAW like PT, Nuendo has like features. Cuz i find that Samplitude has a lack of some Feature especially inthe Automation side that is not thaaaat strong as PT or Nuendo or Sonar.

Thanx for the input..

Well my friend!!

Maybe i'm gonna disappoint you or maybe i simply DO NOT know how to achieve what io want as automation, but i remember cuz i've worked with Samplitude vers 8.1 and damn, there was a lot features that so much DAw out there had before they decided to add them, like stupid example "tracking Folder" etc..

But hte most important, is automation on the SEND levels on each track etc.. Well, i remember, i've started a MIX on a Song and now i simply just restart it back again in Nuendo because in Sam, i notice that i Added a Lets say "DELAY" and in my Vocal track, above in the mixer, you have the amount where you can go and add the value of how much Reverb you want to send right? Ok then i've talked to someone at Magix and told me unfortunately you can go in those parameter above the Mixer and Automate that, you have to Automate the Main SEND or FX Track itself but not automate the value of the reverb you want to send on each track. But of course you can ADD a specific amount, lets say 4.5 and it will stay like that. But lets say in a certain part, i wanna send more Delay, i have to Automate teh MAin Fx track..

And i know that in PT or Nuendo, you can do it all, you can truly Automate everything you touch, when and where you wish.

Of course then i saw that Magix was anouncing the new Version 8.3, then i went in their website to check the NEW Features, they say that they improve the Automation part but in the website, there is no even a Little video demoing how or what they did really improve.. or when you go to Digi or Steinberg or Sonar, they do have some little videos to show you the major add-ons etc..anyways

Again, i'm not trying to start any kind of battle comment against Samplitude or Sequoia, trust me, Sonicly , the Engine is simply amazing, i really loved the sound that was coming out of it but you know when you're use to work in a certain way, and then suddenly either you do not know how to achieve it in a different DAW or that DAW simply doesnt cover it all.. then its kinda hard.

Trust me i was about to go buy (sorry), to rent SAM for 3 months, but i'm still not sure, do not wanna waist my money and i'm telling you this because i HAD someone at Magix from Germany who called me up and was explaining me how the features works and i point at him that situation about the FULL AUTOMATION Capabilities, and then himslef told me " Yes i hear ya, its not fully yet there" but in the next version, we shoudl add all that, but int he mean time you can also achieve that differently"... then i told him, i will wait a bit to see..

Are you urself a Sequoi/Sam user or represent them?

So this is my experience, again, maybe i simply do not know how to use it but trust me, i've spend quite a month on it with that song and i must admit, i was really impressed on all other features, especially one of SAM or Sequoia strongest features "Object Editor" WOW.. simply magic and the Sound of it, as most of people who've tried it or demo it, its just MAGICAL magix~!

Anyways, thank yo for your input!!

bring it on more feedback or comment! love to know more..!

Thanx anywa\ys for taking the time!
