Trouble with M-Audio Fast Track

Hello,

I've scoured the forums looking for answers but I can find very little on the topic. I recently bought an M-Audio Fast Track C600 audio interface. It works quite well, except every time I unplug it from my USB Port, the next time I plug it back in, my computers fail to recognize it. This is happening on both my Macbook running Snow Leopard and my Macbook Pro running Lion, and I have no such problem with my good ol' Tascam US-122 (which only powers up when plugged into my Macbook, hence why I got a new audio interface) so I'm assuming it's something to do with the unit and not the computers...?

Is anyone having similar issues or, even better, a solution to the problem? It's getting to be pretty frustrating. When the creative spark strikes I like to be up and running quickly, not restarting my computer every time I want to work on a song.

Thanks!
