Been thinking , and last year , if i remember well , waves released Mpx , Aphex , Inphase , WLM , NLS ....
Is it me or this year seems less and less prolific ? they still have 6 month ...but until now ....nothing (except NLS) ..

I'd say they're doing ok....you're also forgetting they made the move to 64bit this year, which is in itself a massive deal!

... and the new licensing scheme ... that was likely no small undertaking given how Waves historically feels about copy protection ...

Distressor/Fatso | Good plugin in selection there!
Plus another tape machine, something heavy like the ampex.
They should'nt rest with kramer master tape, but maybe add other tape flavors.
And a neve channel strip, uad's neve is awesome.the SSL stuff is cool too.

The Dorrough meters from Waves are a fantastic suite imo, I use them frequently and find them to be quite reliable for my needs. Quote:

Plugs are always getting better every few years and digital is still a work in progress that's not quite still there so we will always get new plugs. Waves is missing a "Lex" Reverb or just a newly designed Reverb. I'm sure it's on the way.
A newer modern sounding Tape sim not based on an old tube 1/4" (like KMT) would be nice as well.

I have to say I'm fairly happy with what I got with the $199 bundle/$200 voucher offer in July, and the licensing/64bit change made ALL the difference in my attitude toward Waves.

Oh and having to enter billing details every time i wanna buy something despite having an account gets boring but now im nitpicking
Best move they've made is their price reviews

Yea I'm on the waves wagon. Their pricing, 64 bit support, new licensing, not to mention quality are all what sold me. Ditched UAD and their insane pricing, no 64 bit and underpowered dongles. UAD are great plugs but not that good that I am willing to deal with the negs. DSP in this day and age is kind of silly.
I am very happy with the move.

Other than that though, I don't use any other WAVES reverbs too much.

The top three plugins I'd like to see, is a Fatso/Distressor combo, some sort of Manley channel/emu, and some sort of Moog filter.
Those three plug-ins are the main reasons I'd buy an UAD card, but I am just hoping that Waves will pull through!
The Fatso/distressor would be a dream come true! Especially the Distressor part! It's a pretty popular compressor, so I don't see why it's not be emulated a lot.
A VoxBox like plugin would be quite nice.
And lastly, there doesn't really seem to be any filter like the UAD Moog Multimode Filter. It would be a big hit for them and musicians alike.
Can't wait to see the new plugs!

The new waves licensing tool is horrible. I use a wifi usb dongle and it won't allow me to get my licenses because its not ethernet nor regular wifi!!! Sorry needed to get it off my chest.
