You mean the chord that is playing repeatedly right from the start or really the pad that comes up later?
Pads are always permanently held sounds that play in the background (like strings in an orchestra).

That`s just an ordinary pad sound. I suppose from a synth with FM synthesis but that doesn`t really matter for that sound
