2C Audio Breeze or ValhallaRoom+ValhallaShimmer

from the thread B2 New Reverb, 2CAudio Breeze is $99 now, and ValhallaDSP Room+Shimmer is $100.

Which one would you choose ?

Really interested in the 2CAudio B2 as well, just downloading the demo and will try it out today.

I've been demo'ing Valhalla and have been impressed with the quality and the surprisingly small CPU hit. The GUI is also really easy to see and navigate as well. I would definitely like to give Breeze a shot as well.

I just have Vahilla room but love it. I used it in mixing my 7th Golana (native american flutest) cd this past month as the main verb. It's very exposed and works well. But, it's easy to download all the demos and see what works well for you. I demoed Shimmer and at the time didn't feel I needed it as Vahila room does long vers no problem. Shimmer is very cool but more of a unique sound. Does Breeze pull off the Shimmer thng does anyone know? It's been a whole since I demoed it.

I just saw that 2caudio's plugins are still 32 bit on Mac incase that's a concern. Since I'm mostly in Logic I only invest in 64 bit native plugins these days.

No Breeze won't do the shimmer thing however 2C's new B2 reverb is amazing and will go close its becoming my goto reverb replacing vallhala.

So do you think it does much more than ValhallaRoom? I'm intrigued by B2 and have been considering it.

Demo it. I love it but am just a weekend warrior (disclaimer everything i post is affect by drugs, alcohol and lack of knowledge)
B2 is much much more than just a reverb. Its not a fair fight to compare it directly to Vroom which is just a reverb. However for about the same price you can have vroom, shimmer and ValhallaÜberMod which gives you much more than just a reverb. If I had to choose it would be tough plus see disclaimer You can demo all of them.

the valhalla stuff just seems more fun and interesting and "musical" off the bat. Haven't used aether that much, I hear it is good, but seems more "run of the mill", which is fine for many, and I hear is a very very competent reverb, I just find for inspiration, and stuff that makes me feel like "playing" it, well the valhalla stuff is amazing.

my favorite is shimmer.

I own Breeze and everything Valhalla.
I would choose VRoom and UberMod.
But if you can afford B2 it's better than all.I'm demoing it now and i am very tempted.

Care to elaborate on that? Curious in what ways your like it better. In functionality, sound, layout, cpu hit, etc.

sorry for the late answer...
2CAudio 2B is in a different league in terms of quality of the reverb and the functionality.Capable of complex results with its dual engine, great for ambient and lush sounds. Also an excellent all round reverb for rooms, halls etc.

After demoing,i finally bought it.
