TheGrand 2 sounds worse during playback 4 nuendo RAM problem or rendering problem?

I have been using The Grand 2 and have been playing the vsti live with great sound quality. when i record a track into nuendo and play it back the notes sound totally different. the grand 2 needs 1 gig of ram i have 512. Are the voices cutting out during playback because i don't have enough ram, if so why does the grand 2 sound so great when im playing it life?

I can max out my computer with 2 gigs of ram do yall think this is enough?

http://qaa.ath.cx/vn/nightingale.wav <--- is an example of the sound i'm getting when i use nuendo in playback. When i'm playing it life it actually sounds like a real piano none of those weird high pitched sounds.

Is the rendering option set correclty in nuendo? I want to be in 16 bit 44.1 but is nuendo set to playback in 24 bit or something...? how do i get there so that i can change everything to 16 bit?

You're hearing each note twice, thus creating phase cancellation. I'd bet you're hearing the track once as rendered audio, and again (at the same time) as a MIDI track that's still playing The Grand.

Mute the MIDI track. If that doesn't work, post again and let us know.
