interface for mobiler recording!

sorry for this ignorant question - haven't been around much

i've been recording more on the go and remember the options being the duet, rme-babyface, and ULN Halo for quality vocals on the go..

what would you guys go for, or are some of you guys waiting for potential thunderbolt interfaces?

How many Ins do you need? Do you need mic pres? Do you use a laptop? Does it have FW and USB? A lot of variables really. You need to be more specific on your needs and tell us on what kind recording and gear you already have.

i'm only recording solo vocals on the go, so only 1 in. i will be using it with a portable pre like grace101

FW/USB doesn't matter - basically i've found the need to record while traveling a lot more and just need quality more than anything else..

sorry for the confusion and thanks for your help!

Babyface is a nice interface. Very portable, uncolored conversion and clean pres and probably the best drivers out there. Can't go wrong with that choice.

just wanted to say that i won't be using the pres in the interface, will hook up a pacifica to it

so would just need 1-2 channels of conversion, no pres

please let me know if you have any suggestions!
