Can you install snow leopard on a 2007 macbook, and if so will I still be able to keep the ilife software that came bundled with my macbook?

intel mac with tiger (OSX 10.4)?

when yes I have done that, but when you go directly from tiger to snow loepard without installing leopard first, it dont work like an update und you have to install from scratch.

yeah its a intel core 2 duo, and I installed leopard from the installer cd it came with. Now all I have to is try and install a copy of snow leopard and see if I can make it over to lion, but not sure if its possible.

Provided you have access to 10.6 media you can install 10.6 & 10.7 on that machine. Your not able to go past 10.8.

If you have the original machine DVD discs then you can do a fresh (clean install) and then reinstall all the iLife apps. You can get most of the updated versions via the app store once you have gotten the machine past 10.6.2/4 for a little money each. Alternatively you can track down the 2011 version discs for cheap and use that on your clean install.
