Cubase 5.5 metronome export?

I'm desperate! The reason I'm not using a midi track with a programmed click is because I have time signature changes all over the place.

I tried outputting it using control room features (to a studio output routed back physically with a cable to an input) with no luck.No sound coming in to the armed track.Would OMF work?At least that way I can export the files to a friend's Pro Tools rig.

Thanx in advance!

If you can hear the click coming out if your speakers then why not just mute all your tracks and then route your master output back into an input?

Not on my studio PC right now, but what I've done recently (with 6.5, but I don't think it's a new feature) was to change the metronome from audio to midi, and then just route the midi to a separate track with a simple drum machine connected.

And this worked for a number of time/tempo/signature changes.

sparqee:It makes sense but the thing is that it should also work with the Studio output too.In fact, i plugged my headphones straight into that output & was hearing the metronome but the record-armed track(to which the output was physically connected) was 'hearing' nothing.Strange.Will do it again using the master output, as you suggested.

PtbbosI will give it a shot.Should work fine since you have already done it.

Regardless of the results, thank you to both!
