1) Went to CodeMeter - software protection, software copy protection, passwordmanager, software licensing, license management | Service | Downloads and download the latest runtime for OSX
2) Restarted. Now my licences are seen in the CodeMeter app, but showed as invalid.
3) Went to 'My Products' in my account on the SSL website. FWIW I have multiple versions of the different Duende plugins in my account, some auth'd some not yet auth'd.
4) I simply clicked the first 'Activated' plugin in the list - i have no idea which machine it belongs to and there's no way to tell. I'm using the new Safari 6.0 on 10.8.
5) It worked.
6) The end.
Hope this helps

Would be interested in knowing if any SSL MadiXtreme users have installed Mountain Lion, and if it runs OK?
Thanks

Madixtreme does not work with Mountain Lion as of right now
I want to retract this post - it was operator error on my part - I had the v1.2 driver installed. Went to driver 1.3, updated firmware, restarted, and all is now fine.

I've noticed that with Mountain Lion, unless I open the Codemeter app first, Pro Tools won't recognize that I have any of these installed and running. Has anyone else seen this? Very odd...
Perhaps there's an update coming?

Im getting heaps of pops and clicks in Logic where there were none in SL or Lion. Moderate to heavy pieces, with or without flexing. Often clicks when playing, stopping, or dragging the playhead to a new position while it is over an audio file - a slight click. Im not explaining it so well, but the audio engine seems to be rough around the edges now. Updating the Audio drivers, and upping the I/O Buffer and Process Buffer Range doesn't fix it.
Apart from that, in general Logic's performance feels slightly worse / more sluggish than in SL and Lion. Both visually, and in its engine.
There is also the slowdown you encounter when using an analyzer on a channel EQ, which you can read about on the net as many people are having similar issues here. For me, when enabling the analyzer there is a few second pause before the EQ becomes responsive to editing. This one is no big deal for me, more worried about how things are now generally 'feeling wrong'
GUI issues: Apart from it feeling slightly slower- certain menus and prompts appear as large white standard system like prompts with large text, while others appear in the smaller / grey variety that we are used to in Logic 9. The add audio file window is a mix between the two. This doesnt look intentional, more like Apple have to fix a bunch of bugs in Logic's GUI so it is again consistent.
Lots of other small wacky things have happened as well. A sudden corruption of flex in a particular song that made flex unusable for instance.
Anyhow, apologies for the bad explanations here, and also that i havent had the time correctly and concisely test this- these are just my 1st impressions, and Im in a bit of a rush.
I would have to say however that if you're currently using Logic for critical tasks, do not update to Mountain Lion at this time.
If things get any worse and something appears unworkable, I will be rolling back to my Lion Install.
2010 3.33ghz Hex Core Mac Pro 32gb Ram, SSD System drive, 4 x Sample and Audio streaming drives. 2 x Radeon HD 5770 videos cards running 3 x 24'' screens. RME Fireface 800, latest drivers. Pluggins and Libraries- East West Play, Native Instruments Komplete, U-He, Voxengo. Plogue Bidule.
Moderate to Large projects with large 5.1 AUX send section - downmixed.
Lion clean install 2 months ago, super clean system, Mountain Lion upgrade. Permissions repaired and system cleaned using cocktail.
Cheers. | I don't think you mentioned which version of Logic you're running - if it's 9.1.7 - it might be more productive to roll Logic back to 9.1.6 than rolling ML back to Lion.

Clicks and pops are definitely caused by 10.8... it's all over the internets and I've been using a lot of swear words for a while now.

Logic 9.1.7 with 10.7.4 works flawlessly here. Sorry to hear about your troubles guys. Maybe you should roll back and wait for a few updates before taking the dive again...

Definitely roll back if you have the chance. I was dumb enough to go for the clean install (been upgrading since OS 9) and guess I'm waiting it out...

Is there a list of plugins somewhere that 10.8 works with?

So far not much trouble. My system is x64 without bridges and those plugins that are ported to x64 also look good.
There was plenty of time in the beta to get the plugins ready for Mountain Lion.

Did it fix anything? I'm having a terrible time with ML and Logic. Every time I open an eq the mouse and keyboard stop responding and I'm waiting until the end of the song to regain control of everything. I'm willing to to try any fix that doesn't involve rolling ML back to Lion or SL etc.
How does one get a copy of Logic 9.1.6? I'd be willing to try that.

Here you go. Logic Pro 9.1.1 through 9.1.6 updates
I have been reading that 9.1.5 gives the most relief. I have not tried it.

Perhaps there's an update coming? | I can confirm that I have similar issues with Codemeter. It seems for me the safest way to get things going is to connect the dongle before boot up, then launching the Codemter app..

Hope this helps | Hi,
That's not so easy...
Some of us still have some troubles between Duende and Logic9 (all up-to-date).
Duende C200 channel, Vocalstrip, bus compressor aren't ok they don't work anymore, and I tried to solve with the SSL staff, emails and emails, snap-shots of my screen, I tried different ways ... but...
I hope to solve issues with Logic10 or the next upgrade of Logic or SSL Duende...
Hopefully X-eq and drumstrip X-comp are ok.
I though I was alone until today, but I called an old friend today, and he has just sold his Duende because of the same troubles...
I don't know what can I do, may be crossing the Channel, from France to Oxford and leave my computer to the team... Maybe they would try again to solve the problem...
With UAD 2 the 32bits bridge doesn't work so well and my system is not very proof...
So I still work in 32 bits for logic9 and 64 bits for OSX...
