SpectraLayers and spectral analysis

SpectraLayers - I know spectral analysis is grrovy at the moment with this and Iris - I've demo'd Iris and love the idea, I'm just wraping my brain around it all. Where SpectraLayers seems really interesting is its muti-chanel and with a few other one offs makes it seem like a new type off hybrid inrument DAW (which is why i think its vastly different than AI which would be the closest like for like as you;d find in what is, really, a niche market...... Your thoughts on spectreal analysis as a tone generator and where it may all be heading. I suoer exited with this and Melodyne ARL (sic?)
