blue screen of death in G4 ?

tried to boot in OS X (dual 1 ghz) and everything seems fine, until it gets to the blue screen that shows extensions loading, etc. it then stays blue and nothing happens ( ) , any ideas how to fix this ?

I used another mac with the "T" command to start up in OS 9 but it still freezes in OS X

Mario, have u moved any files around on your system drive? Anything thats related to OSX? If the system isnt in the same heirachy as it needs to be, you wont be able to Boot OSX.
If this is the case then you'll need to do a new Install of OSX.. But you can use the 'replace 'option in the installer, so it only moves your old system rather than overwrites it...

If you haven't moved anything around, then you should try either a) booting from your OSX install CD and dunning Disk Utility from there to see if it can find a problem, or b) Start the Mac in Single user mode and run fsck.. There is full instructions how to do this on www.musiccontrol.co.uk under "Mac A + A"

One of these solutions should have you up and running again...

Good Luck,
Al.
