Combining Aurora16 w/aes16 and MOTU firewire SYNC?
I know this is crazy, BUT...
My converters are a Lynx Aurora16 going into a Lynx aes16 card.... perfect match...
but i have a MOTU ultralite with FW out and wordclock....

does anyone know if its possible to clock the two units together via wordclock and put the FW in from the MOTU, along with the AES16 card, and have them both work together?

I'm in a bind and need more channels IN, with what I have laying around.... will the AES and FW sync, and work together simultaneously? I searched everywhere, and can't find much on this.... HELP!

Hi Jazzer24, I noticed this same thread in 3 different forums all without any replies (I'm an Aurora 16/AES16e card user, but not sure I know the answer but would be surprised if there wasn't some way of achieving what you want). Have you tried posting the query on the Lynx user forum?:
