Samplitude on a Macbook- what do i need?

Okay, as a Mac guy I feel pretty hesitent about the whole Bootcamp/XP thing.
But.....Samplitude is looking pretty sexy!

If you were to set up Samplitude on a Macbook,
What would be a rock solid excellent system?
(including....Apogee quality convertors/clock and a Control surface.)
Thanks for the suggestions!

Samplitude on a Mac

I know you asked this a long time ago, but I'll answer anyway:

I have a Macbook Pro with Windows 7 via BootCamp, Samplitude 11 Pro, and an RME Fireface 800. I can connect my Apogee AD16X to the Fireface via Lightpipe to add another 16 channels. Samplitude is the best reason to install Windows on your Mac.

Sam 11 under Bootcamp

Hi,everybody
I'm considering the same setup that Greg has. I have two questions.
1. How must I format my dedicated audio HD under Bootcamp?
2. Is there a way to make files recorded into Samplitude under Win 7 available to ProTools in the Mac OS 10.6 partition? Thanks for your comments

I've been running Samplitude on a Mac Pro for 2 years. It's a very powerful combination.

Last week we had problems powering up the Mac. Luckily we have AppleCare. The computer needed a new logic (mother) board. When it came back, abunch of nagging little issues I'd been having with bootcamp were solved.
