FL studio transfer to protools quality loss

when i sequence my beat in fl studio i split tracks in 16-bit and then transfer them to 24-bit when i open them in protools but the beat seems to lose it's bump and it's not as big as it was in flstudio.Should i just keep everything 16-bit or is there something in fl studio i should check off. Please help me the one thing i dont want is loss of bump/quality in my **** when i spend hours making, mixing and adding effects.

You have to Dither it. Put a dither plug-in in your Master Fader, it will boost your reverb tails and natural decay. If you don't dither, it will cut off the last 8 significant bits. This should help you out...If you don't know what dither is, give me a shout, I will fill you in.

hey optik, so dithering is basically very very quiet white noise, that is added to the whole output signal. This white noise is so inaudible that all it does is boost your least significant bits of your wav. Usually a reverb tail or the natural decay of your mix. Or even higher harmonics, basically whatever is quieter in the mix. They become significant bits after the white noise is added, and the white noise then becomes the least significant bits. The white noise then becomes truncated. That is basically how it works. It really makes a huge world of difference, and alot of people don't do it. FL is a wicked program for beats too...I love that program
