PT7 LE essentials

Man, I gotta say, the Digidesign website sux for trying to gather all the info needed to succesfully install and run PT7.
I've always been a Mac user and have recently sold my G4 and built a PC based on the "Allenstein" machine as suggested on the DUC.

My problem is, all the info for tweeks, installation and requirements are scattered everywhere and it's hard to keep track of it all. They need one list that is easy to find that has it all. The manual only mentions a couple of things, now I'm finding out about stuff like the Dual Core Hotfix etc.

Can anyone put down a concise list of what I need to do to get my dual core Athlon64 machine running optimimaly with either XP pro (no sevice pack but it still installs) or XP home SP2?

Thanks heaps,

Rick
