Thread Starter | favourite TDM plugins? (non eq/comp/reverb)
hey slutz what are your favourite TDM plugins? not counting EQ's and comps which I'll do out board. And don't worry about reverb either, I use altiverb, but I'm interested in what you think of pretty much all other plugs. I'm just helping someone spec a high end studio. Any thoughts would be appreciated. thanks narco

so far the owner has suggested waves platinum plus $4000 of others (unspecified) I haven't yet asked him why he wants waves. For delays and mods I was thinking psp also psp for phase linear eq (eq!) also the cransong for saturation drumagog drum replacement eventide collection, just because its eventide basically obviously autotune, although waves tune looks good, but it is a pro studio so autotune is a given The analog outboard they have is 40 channel vintage neve board 1176 la2 pultecs distressor gml blah blah, hence no need for eqs or comps. narco |

Hats off for Eventide's recreation of their 949. Soundtoys' Echoboy is another fave. I miss GRM....... ruudman |

I consider these plugs mandatory: Serato Pitch N Time, VocAlign Pro, AutoTune 4, Drumagog and TL Master Meter. I also love the McDsp, Sony and DUY plugs.

no one knows what will happen in another 5years but i dont think waves will keep the 'statdard' status. i think sony and McDsp are much betetr options and will soon be as much of a 'standard' as waves, but then what do i know.
