Favourite PC VST plugin for compressing bass

Guyes, what's your favourite eq plugins for compressing the bass in a windows invironment. I'm thinking specially of controlling the lower frequencies from bouncing around in the mix. I kinda like KJaerhus Golden Compressor and Blockfish.

Anyone using limiters instead like L2, L3 btw?

I just use the Powercore 24/7 limiting amp (the best I have....it's ok), set the ratio as high as it can go and set the threshold for a 3 or 4db reduction.

Seems to work...although I wish I had some nicer compression plugs (UAD, URS, etc.), this, however, seems to work well right now.

I use PSP vintagewarmer all the way.. works very well. you can drive the bass hot and the nice bit of distortion let the bass shine trough the mix.

cheers

Another thumbsup for VW, for me Bass is where VW shines the brightest.
Most recently I was going for a gritty oldies station kind of vibe and it was fantastic for this use.
