Can plugins do this right?

Checking out software Guitar Tuners, which ones do you use? what would you reccomend? or is this a job for the hardware boys (ie korg DTR etc)

in my experience the latency involved in software tuners makes guitar tuning brutally slow. my vote = hardware.

ditto,
guitar tuners fit in your case,
don't need minutes to boot up,
work at the beach,
etc....
