Not Nearly Enough VSTs for Mac

Cruising KVR. All the top picks (especially freebies like Ferric TDS, jsCompShaper, RoughRider...) are built for WINDOWS ONLY.

It sucks pretty hard that Mac isn't afforded the same attention by amateur plugin developers. We Mac users miss out on a lot neat technology in its early stages.

In the interest of positivity, why don't we turn this thread into a source list for good, free Mac plugins.

A nice compressor & a tape simulator could be the first on the list.

Roughrider is available as a 32/64-bit VST and AudioUnit for OSX.

There's certainly less free stuff for OSX. But there's still plenty.
