Audio Interface for MBP 2010 (Mobile Setup)

Looking for a good interface for my MBP 2010 with 10.7. Pretty sure it's been covered but I'm replacing a MR816X. New Mac, same dropouts, clicks/pops and it's time for it to go. I know about the Duets, Ensemble, MBox's, Fast Track Pro etc...not sure about drivers but I do need a minimum of 2 mic pre's, doesn't have to have midi since my controller is USB.

Also, great conversion ITB is a must and some clean transparent pres.

I'm running Logic, Reason, and Garage Band. Sooooo......FireWire or USB?

Does the Ensemble have driver issues like the Duet 2?

RME Babyface. The drivers are extremely stable and the interface sounds great!

Roland Quad Capture...I had the same requirements as you - portable, 2 pre amps, bus powered. This thing has very low latency, great playback, does not pop, 2 very clear pre amps (from their VS line), 24 bit 192 kHz.
