Protools panning logic

Anyone moved daws from protools to realise that the stereo panning is somewhat different.
Pt allows individual left right panning where as most others do not.

What did you guys do about it.

Cheers

Moved from Logic to Protools, at least when it comes to mixing.
There's not much you can do than to unconnect the stereo fader to two indiviual mono
tracks. But it's twice the plugin power?
Or you Could send them to an Aux/bus and put the plugs there and do the panning
on the individual tracks...

yep, i HATE this about logic. there are a couple of options via helper plug-in in logic.
i think one is call dir mixer and i forget the other...stereomixer? not sure. they basically let you change the panning so that it works like pt. the problem is that you have to insert a freaking plug in to do this. otherwise when you pan a stereo track hard left, the right side audio simple is muted. whack!

Yup, pretty annoying there's not a preference for changing this.

For the time being we're stuck with using a helper plug-in if we want PT type panning.
