80's texas instruments chip emulator??

hey all-
is there a plugin or stand-alone app that emulates the texas instruments chip that was responsible for those early 80's video games sounds? i know there are full game emulators- i'm wondering if there's some kind of tweakable softsynth out there that emulates the audio engine. thanks in advance.

there is one but i cant remember what it is called. I took a look on kvr for ya but could not find it. If i remember what it is called ill let ya know. There is one person who makes a series of synths that are exactly what you are looking for.

It is out there and they are free. KVR awaits

I haven't found one that has all of them, but there are a few like the Super Mario Brothers Super Synth.

Also, you can grab the sounds for some other games right here .
