Valhalla Room is really nice. Best $50 I've spent in a while! Great plug in.

It does not offer rich, swirling reverb as some other popular plugins do. But that is the strength: it is beautifully unobtrusive. It's one of the very few reverbs I can use to my satisfaction on the mix buss. It can set the mix back a tad in space, soften harsh transients, and not overtly color the sound. Just like a real room. A real sleeper.
It is used on this song: http://thetomorrowfile.bandcamp.com/...brother-called |

Finally got SK Notes Verbtone and Necklace working. Developer sent me an update last night after a good bit of him debugging a certain issue and I will say they are good plate and spring reverb. Really recommend it... Oh and it's only $29!!! |

Kind of hoping TC would releease a native reverb since powercore is no longer in development. I thought long and hard if I'd get a M3000 back in the day, but opted for Lexicon MPX1. It was a tough decision.

For me right now it's the 2016 Room, Valhalla Room and Ubermod. I have Breeze as well which is also great but I find Valhalla Room to be more CPU efficient so it tends to get used more. Occasionally I'll use TL Space for spring/lofi IR's.

I still find myself using IK's good old CSR a lot, that I got for about 30€ on a promo sale. Maybe a bit outdated, but still my No 1 to go if I want some quick out of the box emulated classic hardware reverb. For more complex and sophisticated reverbs I love Meldaproductions MMultibandConvolution and MMultibandReverb. Very flexible, tons of parameters that all can be automated and a lot of good presets for those who are scared off by too many paramters. And they sound fantastic, off course.
I demo'd Valhalla and besides the fact that it has indeed some decent presets I found that it could add nothing new to the possibilities I already have with these plugins.
Nebula seems to be interesting but it's CPU heavy and only supports a hand full of parameters for tweaking due to the method it uses and that's not flexible enough for me.

In case anybody is reading this and unaware, stay away from 112dB reverb. It was once a decent plugin but has fallen into disrepair (tragedy) and... buy at your own risk!

Gonna check it with AVG and then see... | That junk is cracked... The VST got crack ages ago, I knew a guy who had it. He no longer uses crack plugs because of instability and other issues to name the least... I highly recommend not obtaining that software on you computer and buying that very good reverb from Eventide.
If you want the now Eventide 2016 Stereo Room reverb, holla at Tony Belmont at plugin discounts... Just bought it and the Blackhole from him for a killer price.
And I highly recommend the Blackhole if you want a crazy reverb effect... Amazing!!!

Hmmm, ok, if you guys are working well with it, great. Perhaps I'm behind the times. I haven't used it in over a year because of bugs. For a long while after an internal tragedy, 112db was not updating their plugs and things looked bad. If they're back on track, I'm happy for them, and if you get the bugs I got, try switching the plug to no-UI mode in your DAW, it helps. I'll see if there's an update now that helps.

Can anyone say how variety of sound's free EpicVerb sounds compared to some of the others mentioned here? Namely Valhalla Room. Thanks.

Eventide Blackhole
Valhalla DSP
Altiverb for real sampled reverb
I wish Valhalla plugins had a GUI like slate digital plugins.

Hello people,
In my studio I have a hardware TC 6000 & Lexicon 480 .. but I really can say that today there are a lot of plug ins that sound great!
I vote for the UAD's 224. Really sounds great!

I find that KarmaFX make my favourate free ware reverb.

Valhalla room is good but needs alot of tweaking to sit right in the mix for me. CSR works well for rooms. B2 from 2caudio is really very good once you get to know it.
Oddly enough, I am finding that Spacedesigner with a sh*tload of IRs of high end units is slaying all comers.
