Trigger Finger and BFD - Almost ready to say uncle

I have BFD and I am trying to use it with Trigger Finger. I can't seem to figure it out. I have read the Trigger Finger Wiki and followed the instructions, but am at a loss. I see the midi notes that BFD has for each hit and try to drag them from Enigma's library to the TF and do all the funky button hits to save the change - to no avail. Tranpose down two octaves - all the silliness!!!!!

This combo has insane potential, but I spend all my time trying to get it to work. I would think that the TF would have afreaking template for BFD given its popularity.

Anyone out there to help?!?!

Cassidy ,

In the BFD engine options panel.

Turn on 'respond to groove notes'

This will enable midi controlled triggering of the drum grooves.

You can in the BFD keymap editing page 'learn' which midi note you wish to trigger which sound , this may be easier than strugging with the enigma software.
In the keymap page click learn next the type of drum you wish to trigger , then tape the trigger finger pad you wish to play that sound.

Repeat this process until you have assigned all the pads.

If the grooves dont appear to trigger still , check where your 'middle C' setting is set to in your host. c4 or c3 it usually is , also Cubase and Logic will go down to -2 octaves which will make everything appear to trigger the incorrect notes.

Cheers
