Pro Tools question re: making tracks active

This is one of those things that slows me down constantly and I'm wondering if any of you guys have a good workaround for it.

When I'm mixing, I usually have some plugins active and some inactive, so I can easily go back and forth. I "control-command-click" on them to make them active and inactive.

I also have tracks that I toggle back and forth between active and inactive with the same key combination, clicking on the track icon at the bottom of the mix window.

The problem is that when you make a track active and it has one or more inactive plugins on it, a dialog pops up that says "Some of the inserts could not be made active" and you have to click 'OK' or hit the enter key.

I know this doesn't sound like much of a snag, but after it happens many, many times during a session, it gets kind of aggravating. I wanna tell it that I know there are inactive inserts and I couldn't care less. Really seems to cut into the flow of things.

I can't think of a workaround, but I'd be really happy to know of one. Perhaps there's a simpler way overall to do what I'm doing.

I'm open to anything.

Thanks, ladies and gents!
