Is there anything available as good as the MD3?

I've had the MD3 for years and it is amazing for what you get; for ease of use and the way it widens the mix and just sounds great I love it but I need a native solution that's just as good now the Powercore will eventually fall away.

I've tried the demo's of the FLUX and Ozone 5 but they're not sounding as good to my ears.

Is there anything as good? Surely there must be something.

Really? I tried Flux Alchemist a few months ago, for the same reason... getting ready for no Powercore and no MD3. I thought Alchemist sounded great... at least as good as MD3, if not slightly better. Tried several others, including Melda MMultiband Dynamics. The Melda was just too weird to operate and had several functions that, to me, didn't seem designed quite right... which made it difficult to tell exactly what was going on and made control unruly.

I would be perfectly happy with Alchemist. But TC has their best drivers going right now for Powercore. So I don't anticipate needing an MD3 replacement within the next few years. And their other plugs are really to die for... Brickwall, VSS3, DVR2, NonLin2, CL1B. I intend to keep Powercore running as long as possible.

Ok, maybe I need to give Alchemist more of chance?
