No Reaktor 6? NI doing too much?

Do you think Native Instruments has slowed down a bit or lost it's edge? I looked at this thread-http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/showthread.php?p=999426#post999426 and it appears Stephan Schmitt has left native instruments. So where does that leave Reaktor? That man worked on the new version of Reaktor. Now NI has to deal with AKAI and their new product? Do you think maybe they dropped so many products, and now they are having a hard time with keeping up. It looks like their looking for somebody for Reaktor and a new hardware developer.

i don't really care about Reaktor 6. i'd rather they released 5.7, 5.8, 5.9... i don't like expensive upgrades.

What limitations have you run into with Reaktor 5?
