I don't know of a shortcut but while in the mixer if you select all the chs you can arrow up/down and the faders will follow. This will control any selected ch/chs.

There might be a more elegant way of doing so, but I first link all faders together using a key command, and then I just draw one of the linked faders all the way down. Once done I use another key command to unlink.

If you have played around with the key commands before, you can find them under File -> Key Commands

The shortcut is to turn down your master fader....or if you prefer the trim pot on your master.

master fader IS NOT the way to do it..... very bad habit of gain staging

Link faders, move, then unlink.....

Maybe if you are really overcooking your channels in the first place but if that's the case then your gain staging needs to be kept in control earlier in your mix.

If it's just a couple db up or down are you confident you'd pick out the channels being reduced over the master in a blind test??

Also reducing channel levels affects input level to plugs on group channels so if you have comps on groups your whole mix gets changed no?
