Amp and distortion vst for bass

Hello,

I am looking for any recommendations for a bass amp vst (that possibly comes with a good distortion). I produce tech/trance even though my needs for this purpose I don't think they will differ much from other genres.

The options are many:

IK Multimedia Ampeg
Studiodevil Bass amp
IK Multimedia Amplitude
Overloud

even maybe a POD?

What do you prefer if any of the above, and which amp models do you find using?

Thank you

Download Amplitube 3 Free. Then buy as an add-on Fender Bassman 300 (and cab).

That's a cheap yet very good option. I also have Ampeg in AT3 but I prefer this amp (almost exclusively).

Excellent!!! Thank you both very much for the recommendations. I'll try both tomorrow morning when I'll be back into the studio.

Do you also have any other favourites for overdrive or distortion, or other effects such as chorus, delay (from the Amplitube package or not)?

Thanks again

Thanks for the recommendations. So bassman Pro 300 and Ampeg. Is the B15R the standard in the ampeg package?

The TSE overdrive is simply amazing! You were right, you achieve such an amazing and phat sound coupling the overdrive with either the svx or bassman pro :P

Simply effortless.
