My tentative plan for a PC laptop

I've been perusing these forums along with the Tweakheadz forums, among other sites for the past few months, trying to do some homework.

I'm considering buying a laptop from ADK Pro Audio, as they seem to have a pretty solid reputation.

These are the specs I'm thinking of going with:

Intel i7 2.5 GHz 8MB cache quad core
8 GB RAM
2 x Seagate 500 GB 7200 RPM 16 MB Sata II/300 hard drives
Windows 7 64-bit and Cubase Elements 6 pre-installed
eSata/2 USB 2.0/USB3 9in1 Cardreader
nVIDIA 540 1GB graphics card

My current musical goals are to record my metal band and create electronic music. As far as I can tell, this set up will work fine. Do you guys see any red flags or anything that i should reconsider?

I'm also thinking of ordering an M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8R interface, as it has 8 XLR inputs. I'm a drummer and I want to be able to close mic each drum and record them all simultaneous on separate tracks. However, I've heard some bad things about M-Audio's drivers.

Reconsider the m audio , go RME or Roland quadcapture .....and you will have fun , not making maintenance !

Think I'd rather use an octa-capture, since it has 8 channels instead of 4. So what exactly is wrong with M-Audio? Are they low-end or something?
