Nashville Nuendo/Cubase Slutz: Where to get an eLicenser in town TODAY? (Emergency!)

Long story... but the gist of it is that I cut 4 sides on an indie artist I'm producing yesterday, and the room we booked was running a Windows/Nuendo rig.

I'm on a major time-crunch, and have to get this stuff edited, overdubbed, vocal'ed and mixed by Monday.

As would be my luck, the studio had random computer stubbornness trying to export files before I left, so after an hour & a 1/2 of trying workarounds...The quickest way was just to burn the entire sessions to DVD so I could get out of there & head home.

I have very little Cubase/Nuendo experience, but I'm willing to download the trial so I can at least figure out how to consolidate the band takes and export for a Pro Tools session. Problem is, Steinberg is now using the eLicenser thingy for their trials.

Does anyone know of place here in town that sells them? I'm assuming Guitar Center or Sam Ash may have them, but I don't have time to run all over town looking for one. If anyone knows where I can get one some time this morning, PLEASE let me know ASAP.

Respond here or shoot me an email to jfcgtr74 at comcast dot net.

Thanks!

Call Sam Ash/Guitar Center and see if they have the license. If you are close to Madison, there is a Sam Ash on Gallatin Road, just south of Rivergate Shopping Center.

Thanks guys... I'm near Rivergate in Hendersonville, but Sam Ash doesn't have one in stock.

Gonna try contacting Steinberg & see I can get this going this afternoon.

Can't help you with your local stuff, but for consolidating the tracks :

1. hit "2" (above W, not numeric key pad) and change to range selection tool.
2. select all the tracks
3. from the menu : Audio -> Bounce selection

Steve @ Cryptic Globe might be worth trying - he was doing Club Cubase seminars in Nashville, and sells custom DAW PCs.

Late to the party...but, I have a Vienna Key I'm not using. I really don't want to sell (it's my spare)...but, I can let you use it for the project/temp license.

I'm in Charlotte Park ...near Nashville west.
